GNU Solfege is a free ear training program. It runs on Linux, MS Windows and various BSD variants.
GNU Solfege helps practice ear training. These are the exercises written so far:
- Recognise melodic and harmonic intervals
- Compare interval sizes
- Sing the intervals the computer asks for
- Identify chords
- Sing chords
- Scales
- Dictation
- Remembering rhythmic patterns.
The application uses GTK+ version 2.6.x. Other dependencies include pygtk >= 2.6 and Python 2.3.
